How To Acticate License From Demo Version

Server 2012’s system properties do not allow you to change the Product key.

To change this you need to open power shell in privileged mode and enter the following cmd’s.

slmgr -upk (this removes the current Product Key)

slmgr -ipk XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX (this installs the new Product Key)

1.       Home Screen of Windows 7 Embedded

 

2.       By Default Windows 7 Embedded Operating System is in Lock Mode So before start any system related changes unlock Operating System by below steps.

a.       Double Click on Terminal Manager Icon on Desktop 

b.      Type Default Password “Smart@1” 

c.       Terminal  Manager Home Screen as below 

d.      Click on C  

e.      Click on Disable Button and one pop up message saw as below click on Yes 

f.        System Restart and unlock operating system.  Now you can able to change operating system like modify IP address, Change Computer name, install Software, Install printer or any devices.

   

3.       USB Storage.

a.       Double Click on Terminal Manager Icon on Desktop 

b.      Type Default Password “Smart@1” 

c.       Terminal  Manager Home Screen as below 

d.      Click on USB storage Control

e.      Here Three Option 

                                                              i.      Enable  USB Storage

                                                            ii.      Enable and Read only

                                                          iii.      Disable USB Storage

Select option as per your requirement.

4.       Change Terminal Manager Default Password 

a.       Double Click on Terminal Manager Icon on Desktop

d.      Click on Modify Password button and assign new password

Press CTRL+ALT+DELETE  and log in with Administrator User

After Log in Default Screen come as Above .  Click on Close Button .

First Install required hardware device 

Assign local IP address

Start > Control Panel > All Control Panel Home > Network and Sharing Center >

Click on Local Area Connection > Click on Properties >Select  internet protocol version(TCP/IP4)

Click on Properties

Assign IP address , Subnet mask , Gateway and DNS .

Click on ok button. And Close button on local area connection.

 

RDS Installation : start > Administrator Tools > Server Manager  > Click on IT

 

Select Roles > Click on Add Roles  Button on Right Side .

Click on NEXT button

Different Available roles list display Select Remote Desktop Service Role

Click on next button .

Click on Next Button

Select  Remote desktop session host and Remote desktop licensing and click on next .

Click on next

Select Do not required network level security  suggested , > Click Next

Select  Licensing mode > Par device if you have par device license  or par user if you have par user license . ( Hear We discuss about Terminal Cal License RD Cal License )  > Click Next

Select Users or Group which are login to RDS > Click Next

Check Autio and Video Redirection display as above

Click next

.

Click on Install button and Installation process start .after completing installation it will give below message

Click on Close button .

Pop UP message Give that Need to restart server and If press yes server will restart if no you need to restart server manually

After Restart , You can take Remote .

RDS Role Installation DONE.
